Guided Meditation: Why

Welcome to this moment of reflection.
Take a deep breath in . . .

 and slowly exhale.

Allow yourself to settle. Feel the ground beneath you—steady and strong.
With each breath, invite calm in, and let tension go.

Grief can feel like an ocean—

calm one moment, overwhelming the next.
Whatever rises—sadness, love, regret—let it be.

There is no wrong way to feel here.

Now bring to mind your loved one.
They faced a struggle no one could fully see.

Maybe you tried to help, to hold them back from the edge.

It wasn’t your fault.

Let go of blame—

breathe it out gently.

If guilt appears,

picture it as a heavy stone.
You’ve carried it long enough.

When you’re ready,

set it down.

Allow yourself to be human—

to have loved deeply, even without control.

Remember that moment of connection—

A lighter voice, a flicker of hope.
Let it remind you: love continues, even through loss.

Breathe in love.
Breathe out pain.

Speak to them in your heart—

share your love, your wish for their peace.

That bond remains.

Now, gently return to your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes. Feel the ground.
When you’re ready, open your eyes.

You are allowed to grieve.
You are allowed to love.

And with each breath,

you carry their memory forward—always.
